How to Remove Forehead Wrinkles Without Botox: 4 At-Home Face Yoga Exercises
Do you want to have a smooth forehead without invasive treatments? Try these safe at-home ways to remove forehead wrinkles without Botox. With just 4 simple face yoga exercises, this natural face yoga method helps stimulate blood circulation and effectively rejuvenate the skin. Practice regularly to combat skin aging!
Forehead wrinkles often appear earlier than many people think. According to dermatologists, after the age of 25, the amount of collagen in the skin gradually decreases, making the forehead prone to forming lines when smiling, frowning, or under prolonged stress. Many turn to Botox or expensive cosmetic procedures, but worry about the cost, side effects, and the unnatural feeling after treatment.
In fact, getting rid of forehead wrinkles doesn't necessarily require surgery. Simple face yoga exercises are becoming a popular trend because they help relax facial muscles, increase blood circulation, and naturally firm the skin. When performed regularly, this method can help the forehead appear smoother, reduce signs of aging, and prevent wrinkles from deepening over time.
In this article, you will discover face yoga exercises for forehead wrinkles that are easy to do at home, require no equipment, and are suitable for even busy people. Just a few minutes a day can transform your skin gently but sustainably—like tending a small plant, patiently every day until you look in the mirror and realize your face is much more radiant.
Exercise 1: How to do the lion's face: Instant forehead wrinkle removal
Step 1: Lion's face exercise for wrinkle reduction
Sit up straight and relax your body
Before starting the lion's face exercise in face yoga, you should adjust your sitting posture correctly so that your facial muscles and neck area are better relaxed. This is a simple step but directly affects the effectiveness of reducing forehead wrinkles and firming facial skin.
- Sit up straight on a chair or mat, keeping your shoulders naturally open.
- Place both feet firmly on the floor for better body stability during the exercise.
- Relax your neck, shoulders, and jaw to avoid unnecessary muscle tension.
- Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth about 2–3 times before starting.
Breathe deeply to enhance face yoga effectiveness
Proper breathing helps relax facial muscles and promotes better blood circulation. This is also an important factor in helping face yoga exercises effectively reduce wrinkles and slow down the signs of skin aging.
- Inhale slowly so your chest expands naturally.
- Hold your breath for a few seconds to stabilize your breathing.
- Exhale slowly to relieve tension in your face.
- Maintain a steady breathing rhythm throughout the face yoga practice.
When the body is relaxed and the posture is correct, the lion's face exercise will be more effective on the forehead, cheeks, and muscles around the mouth. This helps the face look fresher and more flexible after regular practice.

Step 2: Correctly clench your whole body
In face yoga exercises to reduce forehead wrinkles, clenching your whole body helps activate facial muscle groups and supports natural firmness. When done correctly, the body will clearly feel the stretch in the neck, shoulders, and facial muscles.
- Inhale deeply through your nose to take a slow and steady breath.
- Simultaneously gently clench muscle groups throughout your body such as abdominal muscles, shoulders, arms, and facial muscles.
- Maintain the muscle tension for a few seconds but do not clench too hard to avoid fatigue or discomfort.
- Focus on feeling your forehead, cheeks, and jaw being gently activated.
Combine with breathing to relax facial muscles
Clenching muscles combined with deep breathing helps increase blood circulation and reduces accumulated tension in the face. This is a common cause of early forehead wrinkles for many people who are frequently stressed or lack sleep.
- Maintain steady breathing while clenching muscles.
- Do not frown or clench your teeth too hard during the exercise.
- After a few seconds, slowly relax your entire body to allow your facial muscles to relax naturally.
When practiced regularly, this step can help increase facial muscle flexibility, making the skin look healthier and contributing to improving signs of aging over time.

Step 3: Perform the lion's face pose
This is an important step in face yoga that helps stretch facial muscles, relieve tension in the forehead area, and make the face look more flexible. When performed with proper technique, this pose also helps relax the mind after a stressful period of work.
- Slowly exhale through your mouth and begin to relax your entire body.
- Open your eyes as wide as possible to activate the muscles around your eyes and forehead.
- Open your mouth wide naturally, while spreading your fingers wide.
- Stick your tongue out long and try to direct it downwards instead of straight forward.
Stretch facial muscles correctly
Many people only stick their tongue out gently, so the effectiveness of face yoga is not obvious. To help the exercise reduce forehead wrinkles and relax facial muscles better, you should combine it with facial expressions.
- You can smile slightly or open your mouth wider when sticking out your tongue.
- Hold the pose for a few seconds to stretch the facial muscles as much as possible.
- Do not strain your neck or facial muscles too hard to cause discomfort.
- Maintain a steady breathing rhythm to relax your body naturally.
When practiced regularly, the lion's face exercise can help your face look fresher, reduce the feeling of tightness in the forehead area, and naturally help improve signs of skin aging at home.

Step 4: Hold the lion's face pose for the correct duration
After completing the face yoga pose, you need to maintain the posture to effectively stretch the facial muscle groups. This is an important step to help reduce forehead wrinkles and increase facial muscle flexibility.
- Hold the lion's face pose for about 5–10 seconds.
- Maintain slow and steady breathing so that your body does not become tense.
- Relax your shoulders and neck throughout the pose.
- Focus on feeling your forehead, eyes, and cheeks being gently stretched.
Open eyes wide to better target the forehead area
If you want to increase the effectiveness of reducing forehead wrinkles, you should pay more attention to the eye area during the exercise. This area is directly connected to the forehead muscles and is often strained due to habits like squinting or lack of sleep.
- Open your eyes as wide as possible while still feeling comfortable.
- Avoid squinting or clenching muscles too hard.
- Keep your gaze fixed to better activate the forehead muscles.
- Perform regularly every day to help improve facial skin firmness.
When practiced consistently, this face yoga exercise can help the forehead area look more relaxed, prevent deep wrinkles from forming, and give the face a naturally fresh feeling.

Step 5: Relax your body and repeat the movement
After each lion's face exercise, you should take a few seconds to completely relax your facial muscles and body. This step helps prevent muscle tension and supports face yoga in being more effective at reducing forehead wrinkles.
- Relax your shoulders, neck, and jaw muscles after completing the pose.
- Breathe gently to allow your facial muscles to return to their natural state.
- Rest for about a few seconds before starting the next repetition.
- Perform at least 3 repetitions in each session to increase facial skin firmness.
Increase hold time on the last repetition
To stimulate deeper facial muscle activation, you can extend the holding time of the pose during the last repetition. This helps increase the stretch for the forehead, cheeks, and muscles around the eyes.
- On the last repetition, try to hold the lion's face pose for about 1 minute if it feels comfortable.
- Do not clench muscles too hard, prioritize a stable and comfortable feeling.
- If you are new to face yoga, you can gradually increase the holding time according to your body's ability.
Supports stress reduction and increased blood circulation
In addition to helping reduce forehead wrinkles, this exercise also helps relax facial muscles after long hours of work or continuous use of phones and computers.
- Supports increased blood circulation under the skin, making the face look fresher.
- Reduces feelings of tightness in the forehead and jaw area.
- Makes facial muscles more flexible with regular practice.
- Suitable for people who want natural facial skincare at home without cosmetic intervention.
When consistently practiced every day, this face yoga exercise can become a "small break" for your skin and mind—like opening a window for your face to breathe after a long, stressful day.

Exercise 2: How to smooth hair/press V-shape to quickly reduce forehead wrinkles
Step 1: Make a V-shape with your fingers
In face yoga exercises to reduce forehead wrinkles and firm the eye area, placing your hands correctly will help the facial muscles be more effectively stimulated. The V-shape pose also helps control the pulling force on the skin, limiting the formation of wrinkles caused by repeated expressions.
- Use the index and middle fingers of both hands to form a V-shape, like the "peace" sign.
- Keep your fingers naturally open, not rigidly clenched.
- Relax your shoulders and neck to allow facial muscles to move more flexibly.
- Breathe steadily before starting the next steps of the face yoga exercise.
Prepare facial muscles before exercise
This movement helps you better locate the muscles around your eyes and forehead before performing wrinkle-reducing exercises.
- Keep your hands clean to avoid affecting your facial skin.
- Perform gently to avoid over-stretching the skin.
- You can practice in front of a mirror to easily control facial expressions.
When combined with other face yoga exercises using the correct technique, the V-shape movement can help relax facial muscles, making the forehead and eye area look fresher over time.

Step 2: Frame your eyes with your hands
After forming a V-shape with two fingers, you need to place them correctly around your eyes for the face yoga exercise to more effectively target the skin prone to wrinkles. This movement is often applied to help reduce crow's feet, relax facial muscles, and limit sagging around the eyes.
- Place each eye in the center of the V-shape formed by your two fingers.
- Place your middle finger close to the inner corner of your eye, near the bridge of your nose.
- At the same time, lightly touch the outer corner of your upper eyelid with your index finger.
- Maintain a gentle hand pressure to secure the skin around the eyes without over-stretching.
Check correct finger placement
Correct hand placement helps to better activate the muscles around the eyes and forehead during face yoga exercises.
- When looking in the mirror, your two fingers should form a V-shape beneath each eye.
- Ensure the fingers are symmetrical on both sides of the face.
- Do not press hard on the skin as the eye area is quite thin and sensitive.
- Keep your face naturally relaxed throughout the exercise.
Increase effectiveness of eye and forehead wrinkle reduction
This exercise helps to better control facial expressions, especially suitable for people who often squint, stay up late, or work long hours with computers.
- Helps relax muscles around the eyes and forehead.
- Helps reduce eye strain after long periods of concentration.
- Stimulates blood circulation under the skin, making the face look fresher.
- Combines well with anti-aging face yoga exercises at home.
When done regularly, the eye and forehead areas will feel "unknotted" after hours of continuous muscle tension, making the face look softer and more vibrant.

Step 3: Look up and squint gently
This movement helps activate the muscles around the eyes and forehead in anti-aging face yoga. When performed correctly, it can help reduce wrinkles around the eyes, prevent sagging skin, and firm facial muscles.
- Keep your hands in the V-shape position around your eyes.
- Slowly direct your gaze towards the ceiling or upward.
- At the same time, squint gently to activate the muscles around your eyes.
- Keep your face stable; do not over-wrinkle your forehead when performing.
Contract eye muscles correctly to avoid creating wrinkles
Many people tend to use too much force, causing the forehead area to contract, which can make wrinkles more prominent. Therefore, you should control the muscle force to be just enough.
- Only gently contract the eye area instead of squeezing your eyes shut.
- Maintain steady breathing so that your facial muscles do not stiffen.
- If your eyes feel tired, reduce the squinting force and relax for a few seconds.
- You can practice in front of a mirror to check your facial expressions.
Supports firming the eye and forehead areas
This exercise is often used in facial yoga methods to naturally improve signs of aging at home.
- Helps increase flexibility for the muscles around the eyes.
- Helps the forehead area relax better after long periods of muscle tension.
- Can help reduce feelings of fatigue when working with electronic screens for many hours.
- Suitable for those who want to naturally care for their facial skin without cosmetic intervention.
When practiced regularly, the eye area will gradually become more flexible, like a curtain being drawn open every morning to welcome new light to the entire face.

Step 4: Gently lift the eye area with your fingers
In face yoga for forehead wrinkles, gently lifting with your fingers will help the muscles around the eyes and eyebrows work more effectively. When facial muscles work against the force of your fingers, the forehead area will be stimulated to firm naturally.
- Keep the V-shape around your eyes as in the previous step.
- Use your fingertips to gently lift the skin around your eyes upwards.
- At the same time, squint gently to create opposing force between the facial muscles and fingers.
- Hold the position steadily for a few seconds, then relax.
Apply just enough force to avoid skin tension
Many people tend to pull the skin too hard, causing discomfort or redness around the eyes. With face yoga, it's important to control the force to be gentle and even.
- Only lift gently with your fingertips, do not pull the eyelids hard.
- Keep facial muscles naturally relaxed throughout the exercise.
- Do not furrow your brow excessively to avoid deepening forehead wrinkles.
- Breathe evenly to help facial muscles work more stably.
Activates forehead and eyebrow muscles
This movement helps the forehead and eyebrow muscles move more flexibly, especially suitable for those who often frown or work under stress.
- Supports improving forehead firmness.
- Helps relax muscles around the eyes after prolonged focus.
- Can help the face look more refreshed when practiced regularly.
- Combines well with anti-aging facial yoga exercises at home.
When performed correctly, this exercise is like "waking up" tired facial muscles after hours of maintaining expressions, helping the face gradually regain flexibility and naturalness.

Step 5: Close your eyes tightly to contract facial muscles
This step helps enhance the activity of the muscles around the eyes and forehead in anti-aging face yoga. After applying force with your fingers, closing your eyes tightly correctly will help facial muscles work deeper and effectively relax the eye area.
- Slowly remove your hands from your face.
- Close your eyes tightly but maintain a comfortable feeling.
- Hold the position for about 10 seconds.
- Then relax all facial muscles and gently open your eyes.
Control the squeezing force to avoid muscle fatigue
Many people tend to use too much force when closing their eyes, causing the forehead area to tense up or leading to discomfort around the eyes. You should prioritize a moderate muscle contraction sensation.
- Do not clench your teeth or wrinkle your forehead excessively when performing.
- Maintain steady breathing for natural facial muscle relaxation.
- If your eyes feel tired, reduce the squeezing force and rest for a few seconds.
- You can do 3-5 repetitions in each face yoga session.
Helps relax eyes and reduce forehead muscle tension
This exercise is particularly suitable for those who frequently use computer screens or suffer from prolonged sleep deprivation.
- Helps relax muscles around the eyes after periods of intense focus.
- Helps reduce the feeling of stiffness in the forehead caused by frequent frowning.
- Stimulates blood circulation, making the face look fresher.
- Can help reduce signs of fatigue on the face with regular practice.
When practiced regularly, facial muscles will gradually become more flexible, like a loosened string after being continuously pulled tight for a long time.

Step 6: Relax facial muscles and repeat the exercise
After each repetition, you should allow your facial muscles to rest briefly before continuing. Alternating between muscle contraction and relaxation helps face yoga exercises be more effective in reducing forehead wrinkles and relaxing the eye area.
- Completely relax the eye, forehead, and jaw areas for a few seconds.
- Breathe gently to allow facial muscles to return to their natural state.
- Repeat the exercise 6 more times to increase muscle firming effectiveness.
- Each session requires completing the step of tightly closing your eyes and then relaxing before moving on to the next repetition.
Helps improve various signs of aging around the eyes
In addition to helping reduce forehead wrinkles, this facial yoga exercise also targets many areas around the eyes prone to aging.
- Helps reduce puffiness and mild swelling around the eyes.
- Helps the eyelids appear firmer and more flexible.
- Can help reduce crow's feet wrinkles caused by repeated expressions.
- Helps the face look more alert after long periods of work or lack of sleep.
Maintain regularly to see natural results
Face yoga usually doesn't provide instant changes like cosmetic procedures, but it is suitable for those who want natural and sustainable facial care.
- Can be practiced daily in the morning or evening.
- Combine with adequate sleep and proper skincare to enhance effectiveness.
- It's advisable to practice in front of a mirror to better control facial expressions.
- Consistent practice helps facial muscles gradually become firmer and more relaxed over time.
When this exercise becomes a daily self-care habit, the face will feel regularly "gently activated" — not noisy, but enough to maintain freshness and flexibility over the years.

Exercise 3: Eye and forehead yoga with the "owl" pose
Step 1: Make a C-shape with both hands
Step 2: Gently pull the forehead area down with your index finger
This movement creates opposing force for the forehead muscles in anti-aging face yoga. When the forehead muscles work against the force from the fingers, the skin on the forehead will be stimulated to move more, helping to improve natural firmness.
- Maintain the C-shape hand position around your eyes.
- Use your index finger to gently pull the skin on your forehead downwards.
- Apply even, firm pressure, but do not press too hard on the skin.
- Keep your head and neck relaxed to avoid unnecessary muscle tension.
Apply adequate pressure to protect the skin
The forehead is an area prone to wrinkles due to repeated facial expressions. Therefore, controlling hand pressure when doing face yoga is very important.
- Use just enough pressure to feel your forehead muscles working.
- Do not pull hard, causing skin to feel tight or uncomfortable.
- Keep your face naturally relaxed when performing the exercise.
- Breathe evenly to help stabilize facial muscles during exercise.
Activate forehead muscles to help reduce wrinkles
This exercise is widely adopted in natural at-home facial care methods.
- Helps relax forehead muscles often tense due to stress or frequent frowning.
- Helps increase the flexibility of facial muscles.
- May help reduce the appearance of horizontal forehead wrinkles with regular practice.
- Suitable for those who want to improve signs of aging without cosmetic intervention.
With proper practice, the forehead muscles will gradually become more flexible, like a fabric gently smoothed out after being folded repeatedly for a long time.

Step 3: Lift eyebrows and open eyes wide
After applying pressure to your forehead with your fingers, try to lift your eyebrows high and open your eyes wide. This movement helps the forehead muscles work more intensely in face yoga exercises to reduce wrinkles and firm the skin around the eyes.
- Try to lift your eyebrows upwards.
- Open your eyes naturally wide to activate the muscles around the eyes and forehead.
- Maintain steady hand pressure to create resistance for facial muscles.
- Hold the movement for a few seconds, then relax gently.
Create resistance to make facial muscles work more effectively
When the forehead muscles work against the pressure from your fingers, it increases the range of motion for the muscle groups in the forehead and eyebrows.
- Do not use too much hand pressure to avoid stretching the skin.
- Focus on feeling the forehead area being activated.
- Keep your face natural, avoiding excessive forehead furrowing.
- Breathe evenly to relax facial muscles during exercise.
Helps improve signs of aging in the forehead area
This movement is often used in face yoga exercises to help reduce wrinkles and make the face look more alert.
- Helps increase flexibility in the forehead and eye area muscles.
- Helps relax the forehead area, which is often tense due to stress or lack of sleep.
- May help reduce the feeling of heavy eyelids and tired eyes.
- Suitable for those who want natural at-home facial care.
With persistent practice, the forehead area will gradually become more flexible, like a calm lake after many small ripples accumulated throughout the day.

Step 4: Hold the position for 2 seconds
After lifting your eyebrows and opening your eyes wide, hold this position for about 2 seconds to further activate your forehead and eye muscles. This interval allows facial muscle groups to stabilize before moving on to the next step.
- Keep your eyebrows naturally lifted.
- Open your eyes wide but comfortably.
- Maintain a steady breathing rhythm while holding the movement.
- Do not tense your neck or shoulders during the exercise.
Apply gentle downward pressure
After holding the position, continue to use your fingers to apply light downward pressure to the forehead area for about 2 seconds. This action increases the resistance for facial muscles in anti-aging face yoga.
- Use moderate pressure to avoid stretching the forehead skin.
- Keep movements slow and control hand pressure well.
- Do not furrow your brow too hard when applying downward pressure.
- Relax facial muscles immediately after completing the movement.
Helps firm forehead and eye muscles
Combining eyebrow lifts with resistance pressure helps the forehead muscles move more flexibly.
- Helps relax facial muscles after prolonged tension.
- May help reduce horizontal forehead wrinkles with regular practice.
- Makes the eye and eyebrow area look more flexible.
- Suitable for those who want to maintain a natural at-home facial care routine.
With consistent practice, these small movements are like gentle stretches that gradually help the face regain softness and freshness over time.

Step 5: Relax hands and facial muscles
After each face yoga exercise, you should allow your forehead and eyes to fully relax before repeating the movement. Short breaks between sets help facial muscles recover better and reduce stiffness.
- Release your hands from your forehead and eyes.
- Return your eyebrows to their natural state.
- Breathe slowly to gently relax facial muscles.
- Keep your shoulders and neck relaxed for overall body comfort.
Repeat the exercise for increased effectiveness
To improve the effectiveness of face yoga for reducing forehead wrinkles, you should maintain an appropriate number of repetitions instead of exercising too quickly or using too much force.
- Repeat the movement 3 more times.
- Keep movements slow and control facial expressions well.
- Focus on feeling your forehead and eye muscles working.
- Take a few seconds break between each set if you feel facial muscle fatigue.
Maintain a regular face yoga routine
Small exercises for the forehead and eyes often show clearer results when maintained consistently.
- Helps relax facial muscles after a stressful workday.
- Makes the forehead area more flexible and prevents prolonged muscle tension.
- May help improve the face's natural fresh appearance.
- Suitable for incorporating into an at-home anti-aging skincare routine.
With consistent daily practice, the face will gradually feel like "each small knot is loosened," helping expressions become softer and more natural over time.

Step 6: Hold the movement for 10 seconds on the last repetition
On the last repetition of the face yoga exercise, you should hold the position for about 10 seconds to increase the activity of your forehead and eye muscles. This step helps the exercise impact the wrinkle-prone area on the forehead more deeply.
- Keep eyebrows slightly lifted and eyes naturally open.
- Maintain stable hand pressure on the forehead area.
- Hold the position for about 10 seconds before relaxing.
- Breathe evenly so facial muscles are not overly tense.
Increase forehead muscle firmness
Holding the movement longer on the last repetition forces the forehead muscles to work continuously for a short period, thereby helping to increase the flexibility and natural firmness of this skin area.
- Helps activate forehead muscles more effectively.
- Makes the eyebrow and eye area more flexible.
- May help reduce tension in the forehead area due to stress or habitual frowning.
- Suitable for those who want at-home anti-aging facial care.
Perform correctly to avoid facial muscle fatigue
When holding the position longer, it's important to control the force just enough, rather than trying to clench muscles too hard.
- Do not pull forehead skin too much with your fingers.
- Keep your face naturally relaxed during the exercise.
- If you feel tired or uncomfortable, reduce the holding time.
- You can practice daily to help maintain long-term effectiveness.
When you maintain this habit regularly, your forehead will gradually become like a muscle fiber gently trained every day—not too much pressure but enough to become more flexible and firm over time.

Step 7: Maintain daily face yoga practice
For face yoga exercises to reduce forehead wrinkles to be truly effective, the most important thing is to maintain them consistently every day. Regular practice helps facial muscles become accustomed to natural stretching movements and helps the forehead area become more flexible over time.
- Perform the exercise daily to maintain the activity of your forehead and eye muscles.
- You can exercise in the morning to make your face feel more awake or in the evening to relax after a long day.
- Combine with other face yoga exercises to enhance natural anti-aging effects.
- Maintain a stable exercise duration instead of exercising too much in a short time.
Combine with skincare habits for enhanced effectiveness
In addition to exercise, daily habits also significantly affect the condition of forehead wrinkles.
- Get enough sleep for better facial muscle recovery.
- Drink enough water to help skin maintain natural elasticity.
- Avoid frequent frowning or furrowing of the brow.
- Protect skin from sun exposure to reduce the risk of premature aging.
Be persistent to see natural changes
Face yoga often brings slow but sustainable results. When done correctly, the face can gradually look more relaxed and fresh without the need for cosmetic intervention.
- Helps reduce tension and stiffness in the forehead area.
- Helps facial muscles become more flexible.
- May help limit the formation of deep wrinkles over time.
- Suitable for those who want natural at-home facial care.
Practicing face yoga daily is like tending a small garden on your face—no rush needed, just consistency and enough patience to see gentle changes day by day.

Exercise 4: How to massage forehead wrinkles at home
Step 1: Gently place hands on forehead
In face yoga exercises to reduce forehead wrinkles, proper hand placement will help the forehead muscles be better supported when performing stretching and relaxation movements. This is an important step to control the force applied to the skin to avoid creating unnecessary creases.
- Place both hands gently on your forehead.
- Point your fingers inwards so that your hands face each other.
- Maintain a natural distance between your fingers for comfort.
- Relax your shoulders and neck throughout the exercise.
Keep hand pressure light to protect forehead skin
The skin on the forehead is quite prone to wrinkles when constantly stretched. Therefore, when doing face yoga, you should prioritize a light and steady touch.
- Do not press hard on the forehead skin.
- Keep your hands soft and naturally relaxed.
- Avoid pulling or tugging hard to avoid skin tension.
- Combine with steady breathing to relax facial muscles better.
Prepare your forehead muscles for the next movements
Hand placement helps stabilize the forehead muscles before performing more intensive anti-aging exercises.
- Helps relax the forehead, which is often tense due to stress.
- Helps increase the ability to feel facial muscle movement.
- Can help reduce the feeling of heaviness in the eyebrows.
- Suitable when combined with at-home face yoga exercises.
When done correctly, your hands act like a "gentle support point" to help your forehead relax and rebalance after hours of holding tense expressions.

Step 2: Stroke your fingers from the center of your forehead outwards
This face yoga exercise helps relax the forehead muscles and helps soften wrinkles that appear due to muscle tension or repetitive expressions. When done correctly, the exercise can help the forehead area look more relaxed and toned.
- Place your fingertips in the center of your forehead.
- Slowly stroke your hands outwards towards your temples.
- Perform slow and steady movements to allow facial muscles to stretch naturally.
- Maintain steady breathing throughout the exercise.
Apply enough pressure to flatten the forehead area
When stroking your hands, you should apply gentle but noticeable pressure to feel the skin and forehead muscles being worked. This is how face yoga exercises can be more effective in helping to reduce forehead wrinkles.
- Use firm pressure but do not rub too hard to avoid skin irritation.
- Feel a slight tension in the skin as you stroke outwards.
- Do not pull the skin too quickly to avoid losing skin elasticity.
- Can be performed multiple times in a row to increase the effectiveness of facial muscle relaxation.
Helps relax forehead muscles and increase blood circulation
This movement is often applied by many people as an at-home anti-aging facial massage step.
- Helps reduce tightness in the forehead area.
- Helps facial muscles relax after long periods of work or stress.
- Can help improve blood circulation under the skin for a fresher complexion.
- Suitable for those who frequently frown or furrow their brows when concentrating.
When performed regularly, the forehead stroke movement is like "smoothing out small creases" accumulated after a long day, helping the face gradually become softer and more relaxed.

Step 3: Relax facial muscles after each set
After completing one repetition of a face yoga exercise, you should take a few seconds to allow your facial muscles to rest and relax completely. This step helps reduce muscle tension and aids in better recovery of the forehead area between sets.
- Relax your forehead, eyes, and jaw muscles naturally.
- Stop applying hand pressure to allow your facial skin to return to a relaxed state.
- Breathe slowly and steadily to help your body relax more.
- You can close your eyes for a few seconds to reduce eye strain.
Helps facial muscles recover and relax better
Taking short breaks between sets helps prevent continuous muscle tension in the face and enhances the effectiveness of anti-aging face yoga exercises.
- Helps reduce tightness in the forehead area.
- Helps the muscles around the eyes and eyebrows relax more naturally.
- Prevents excessive force when doing face yoga.
- Creates a pleasant and comfortable feeling for the entire face.
Prepare for the next set more effectively
When facial muscles are properly relaxed, subsequent movements will be easier and more stable to perform.
- Helps to better control facial expressions during exercise.
- Supports maintaining a steady and gentle rhythm of exercise.
- Can combine light temple massage to enhance relaxation.
- Suitable for maintaining a natural daily facial care routine.
This short break is like a "slow breath" for the face, allowing the muscles to loosen before engaging in movement again.

Step 4: Repeat the exercise 10 times daily
To more effectively reduce horizontal forehead wrinkles, you should perform this face yoga exercise about 10 times daily. Regular repetition helps the forehead muscles become more flexible and supports the skin in appearing naturally firmer over time.
- Perform the exercise at a slow and steady pace.
- You can divide it into multiple sessions throughout the day if your facial muscles feel tired.
- Maintain a consistent exercise routine rather than intense short bursts.
- Combine with deep breathing to help facial muscles relax better.
Helps reduce forehead wrinkles naturally
Many people choose face yoga as a home facial care method instead of cosmetic interventions. When performed correctly, the exercise can help improve facial muscle flexibility and make the forehead area appear softer.
- Helps reduce tightness in the forehead area.
- Can help limit the formation of horizontal wrinkles due to repetitive expressions.
- Helps the face look more relaxed and refreshed.
- Suitable for those who want natural anti-aging without invasive intervention.
Relaxing exercise suitable for the end of a face yoga session
This is a suitable movement to conclude a face yoga session as it helps the facial muscles relax after activity.
- Helps balance the state of facial muscles after many consecutive exercises.
- Helps relax the eyes, forehead, and temples.
- Provides a light and pleasant feeling for the face.
- Can be combined with facial massage or evening skincare.
When practiced consistently every day, these small movements are like "smoothing out each wrinkle of time" on the face — slowly but enough to create lasting change.

Step 5: Combine with other face yoga exercises
To enhance the effectiveness of reducing forehead wrinkles, you should combine this exercise with other face yoga movements instead of just doing one exercise. Combining various movements helps the facial muscles work more comprehensively and helps relax different areas of the face.
- Combine exercises for the forehead, eyes, and eyebrows in the same session.
- Alternate between muscle clenching and muscle relaxation to increase flexibility.
- Maintain a consistent daily exercise routine to support natural anti-aging.
- Can be done in the morning or before bed to help facial muscles relax better.
Increase the effectiveness of wrinkle reduction and facial skin firming
When multiple muscle groups on the face are activated together, the natural facial care results often become more noticeable over time.
- Helps reduce tightness in the forehead and around the eyes.
- Helps the face look fresher and more flexible.
- Can help limit wrinkles caused by repetitive expressions.
- Increases the feeling of relaxation after long periods of work or stress.
Maintain a comprehensive skincare routine
Face yoga will be more effective when combined with a healthy lifestyle and proper skincare.
- Get enough sleep for skin to recover.
- Drink enough water to maintain skin elasticity.
- Limit staying up late and prolonged stress.
- Combine daily skincare and sun protection to protect the forehead area from premature aging.
When exercises are harmoniously combined, the face is like a set of muscles that are "uniformly awakened," helping each small area work together smoothly to create a more relaxed and natural appearance over time.

Practice in front of a mirror to ensure correct technique
When starting face yoga, practicing in front of a mirror will help you better control your facial expressions and muscle posture. This is especially important for forehead wrinkle reduction exercises, as even slightly incorrect pressure or position can cause unnecessary facial muscle tension.
- Observe the movement of your forehead, eyes, and eyebrows while exercising.
- Check if both sides of your face are performing movements symmetrically.
- Avoid frowning or creating additional creases on your forehead during the exercise.
- Helps adjust hand pressure and expressions more naturally.
Maintain daily practice to increase effectiveness
Face yoga often requires persistence to show noticeable changes. Regular daily practice helps facial muscles gradually become more flexible and toned over time.
- Dedicate a few minutes each day to face yoga exercises.
- Combine multiple movements for the forehead and eyes to better support anti-aging.
- Maintain a stable exercise schedule instead of intermittent practice.
- Can be done in the morning or evening depending on personal habits.
Keep your hands clean before touching your face
Since face yoga exercises require direct contact with the facial skin, keeping your hands clean is a crucial step to limit dust and bacteria from affecting your skin.
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap before exercising.
- Trim your nails to avoid scratching your face.
- Avoid touching your face if your hands are not clean.
- You can clean your face before exercising to enhance the feeling of comfort.
These small habits are like preparing the ground before sowing seeds – the more careful you are from the start, the more likely your natural facial care process will achieve long-term effectiveness.

Hôm qua vừa ngồi vuốt vuốt trán theo bài hướng dẫn thì mẹ mình đi ngang qua hỏi: “Mày mất sổ gạo hay sao mà mặt mày đau khổ thế con?” 🤣.
