Cách thanh tẩy đá Luân Xa: 12 cách kích hoạt năng lượng hiệu quả

Did you know that over 70% of crystal users believe that Chakra stones can "retain" negative energy after a period of use? This is like using a dust cloth—the more you wipe, the dirtier the cloth gets. If not cleaned, the very stone that once helped you find balance becomes a "container" for old energy.

Therefore, properly understanding how to cleanse Chakra stones not only helps the stone "reset" to its original state but also helps you enhance meditation, healing, and emotional balance every day. The good news is that you don't need complex tools or elaborate rituals—with just a few simple methods, you can cleanse your stones right at home.

In this article, you will discover easy-to-apply, safe, and culturally appropriate methods for cleansing Chakra stones—helping your stones stay "energetically clean" and ready to accompany you on your journey to balance body, mind, and spirit.

Method 1: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Water

Rinse stones under running water

  • This is one of the simplest and easiest ways to cleanse Chakra stones at home.
  • Place the stone under continuously running water for about 30–60 seconds.
  • Flowing water helps to wash away negative energy that the stone has absorbed during use.
  • While rinsing, you can visualize "impure energy" flowing away with the water to enhance the effect.
  • If possible, using water from natural springs, rivers, or waterfalls is better, as these sources are considered rich in natural energy.

Cleansing Chakra stones with rainwater

  • Another natural method for cleansing Chakra stones at home is to place them outdoors during heavy rain.
  • Rainwater helps gently cleanse and "refresh" the stone's energy.
  • Afterward, use a soft cloth to gently wipe it dry to avoid scratching the stone's surface.

Important notes when using water for cleansing

  • Not all stones are suitable for this method.
  • Avoid using water with easily dissolvable or damageable stones such as:
    • Selenite
    • Celestite
    • Fluorite
    • Black Tourmaline
    • Turquoise
    • Pyrite
    • Topaz
    • Moonstone
    • Opal
  • If unsure, check first to ensure your Chakra stone cleansing method is safe and won't damage the stone.

Method 2: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Saltwater

Soak stones in natural saltwater

  • This is a highly effective method for cleansing Chakra stones, often used when stones accumulate a lot of negative energy.
  • Prepare a large bowl, add clean water, and then add sea salt or Himalayan salt.
  • Soak the stones for 30 minutes to 48 hours, depending on the level of use and your energy perception.
  • Saltwater acts like an "energetic antiseptic," helping to deeply cleanse and regenerate the stone's energy.
  • If possible, using natural seawater is better as it carries natural energy.

Increase effectiveness with the dry salt method

  • If you are concerned about your stones being affected by water, you can apply another method for cleansing Chakra stones:
  • Place the stone in a bowl of coarse salt (rock salt).
  • Leave it for about 24 hours, preferably outdoors to absorb more natural energy.
  • This method helps the stone absorb energy from the earth (salt) without direct contact with water.

Why salt helps cleanse Chakra stones

  • Salt symbolizes the "earth" element, with the ability to absorb and neutralize negative energy.
  • When combined with water, this method becomes one of the most potent ways to cleanse Chakra stones.

Important notes when using saltwater

  • Avoid using with the following types of stones:
    • Easily soluble in water: selenite, celestite, fluorite
    • Easily corroded by salt: pyrite, black tourmaline, opal, moonstone, turquoise, amber, topaz
  • If unsure, prioritize using dry salt instead of soaking in water to ensure safety.

Method 3: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Brown Rice

Cover stones with brown rice to absorb negative energy

  • This is a safe Chakra stone cleansing method for all types of stones, including those that cannot tolerate water or salt.
  • Prepare a large bowl, pour in uncooked brown rice, and place the stones inside.
  • Cover the stones completely with rice and leave them for about 24 hours.
  • Brown rice has the ability to absorb negative energy, helping the stones to be "cleansed" gently but effectively.

Disposing of rice after cleansing

  • After completing this Chakra stone cleansing method, you should discard the rice immediately.
  • Do not cook or reuse it as the rice has absorbed negative energy from the stones.

Why brown rice is used

  • Brown rice represents natural elements, close to "earth energy," helping to neutralize and absorb negative energy.
  • This method is particularly suitable for beginners because it is easy to do and poses no risk of damaging the stones.

Method 4: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Snow

Place stones on fresh snow

  • This is a natural method for cleansing Chakra stones, suitable when you want to gently "refresh" their energy.
  • Place the stone on clean, fresh snow and leave it until you feel the stone is "lighter" and clearer.
  • Snow symbolizes purity, helping to soothe and wash away old energy from the stone.
  • Cold temperatures combined with natural light help the stone to be re-energized in a balanced way.

Alternative method when there is no outdoor space

  • If you cannot place stones outdoors, you can still apply this Chakra stone cleansing method at home by:
  • Putting clean snow in a bowl and placing the stone on top indoors.
  • Ensuring a quiet area to maintain a "still" state for the cleansing process.

Types of stones suitable for the snow method

  • This method is particularly suitable for stones related to:
    • Water element
    • Intuition, contemplation
    • Meditation and self-reflection

Important notes when using snow

  • Avoid using with the following types of stones:
    • Easily soluble in water: selenite, celestite, fluorite
    • Sensitive to sunlight: aquamarine, cinnabar, creedite, topaz
  • If your stone belongs to a sensitive group, you should choose a safer Chakra stone cleansing method.

Method 5: Cleansing Chakra Stones by Burying in Earth

Bury stones in the earth to absorb negative energy

  • This is a natural and deep method for cleansing Chakra stones, suitable when you want to completely "reset" the stone's energy.
  • Dig a small hole (about 5–10 cm deep), place the stone in it, and cover it with earth.
  • Leave it overnight (about 8–24 hours) for the earth to absorb all remaining negative energy.
  • Earth carries stable energy, helping to balance emotions and return the stone to its original natural state.

Post-cleansing care

  • The next morning, gently dig up the stone.
  • Use a soft cloth to wipe off any dirt or mud clinging to the stone's surface.
  • If necessary, you can quickly rinse it with water (if the stone can tolerate water) for a complete cleaning.

Types of stones suitable for earth energy

  • Some stones that are "earth-compatible" and benefit from this Chakra stone cleansing method:
    • Red Jasper
    • Black Tourmaline
  • These stones typically help to increase stability, reduce anxiety, and connect with the body.

Important notes when burying in earth

  • Moisture in the earth can damage some water-sensitive stones, such as:
    • Selenite
    • Celestite
    • Fluorite
    • Turquoise
    • Pyrite
    • Topaz
    • Moonstone
    • Opal
  • If unsure about the stone's properties, choose another safer method among the Chakra stone cleansing methods.

Method 6: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Light

Expose stones to sunlight or moonlight

  • This is a natural and popular method for cleansing Chakra stones, helping to both purify and "recharge" the stone's energy.
  • Place the stone in a safe spot, such as a balcony, courtyard, or windowsill.
  • If using moonlight: leave overnight, especially effective on a full moon night.
  • If using sunlight: just 20–30 minutes in the morning is enough to cleanse the energy.
  • Light helps the stone remove negative energy and restore balance.

Combine both sunlight and moonlight

  • An advanced method in Chakra stone cleansing is to let the stone absorb both energy sources:
  • Place the stone from evening until the next morning to receive both moonlight and early sunlight.
  • During special times like solar or lunar eclipses, the energy is believed to be stronger, perfect for a complete "refresh."

Stones suitable for the light method

  • This method is particularly effective with transparent or light-colored stones such as:
    • Quartz
  • These stones easily absorb light, helping to enhance their purifying and amplifying energy capabilities.

Notes when using direct sunlight

  • Some stones may fade if exposed to sunlight for too long, such as:
    • Aquamarine
    • Fluorite
    • Topaz
  • Therefore, only expose them to sunlight for a short time to ensure safety when applying the Chakra stone cleansing method.

Method 7: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Breath

Use intentional breath to cleanse the stone

  • This is a simple, highly personalized Chakra stone cleansing method, suitable when you want to connect directly with the stone's energy.
  • Hold the stone in your dominant hand to increase focus and energy control.
  • Inhale deeply, keep your mind calm, and focus on the intention of cleansing.
  • Exhale through your nose in short, even breaths, directing the breath directly onto the stone.
  • Repeat for about 30 seconds or until you feel the stone is "lighter" and its energy is clearer.

Combine intention to increase effectiveness

  • While performing the Chakra stone cleansing method, hold a clear thought such as:
    • “Remove all negative energy”
    • “Restore natural balance”
  • Intention plays a crucial role, helping to direct and amplify the cleansing effect.

When to use this method

  • Suitable for:
    • Small, easy-to-hold stones
    • Situations requiring quick cleansing
    • People who meditate or work with energy regularly
  • Because breath has limitations, this method is most effective when applied to small-sized stones.

Advantages of the breath method

  • Safe for all types of stones, causes no damage
  • No tools needed, can be done anywhere
  • Helps you connect more deeply with the stone and yourself

Method 8: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Cleansing Stones

Use stones with energy-cleansing abilities

  • This is a convenient and safe Chakra stone cleansing method, especially suitable when you don't want to use water or salt.
  • Use stones with natural purifying abilities such as:
    • Selenite
    • Quartz
    • Geode
  • Place the stone to be cleansed on top of or in direct contact with the cleansing stone.
  • Leave it for a few hours to 24 hours for negative energy to be gradually "drawn" into the larger stone.

How to cleanse large stones with small stones

  • If your stone is large, apply a variation of this Chakra stone cleansing method:
  • Place the stone in a large bowl, then surround it with small cleansing stones such as:
    • Carnelian
    • Hematite
  • Leave it for about 24 hours for the energy exchange process to be effective.

Why this method is effective

  • Some stones have a stable energy structure, which helps to absorb and neutralize negative energy from other stones.
  • When two stones come into contact, energy will naturally balance, similar to the "give and take" principle in nature.

Advantages of this method

  • Causes no damage, suitable for all types of stones
  • Easy to perform, no complex preparation needed
  • Can be applied regularly as a Chakra stone cleansing method at home

Method 9: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Sound

Use sound waves to cleanse stone energy

  • This is an effective and quick Chakra stone cleansing method, especially suitable when you need to cleanse multiple stones at once.
  • Use sound sources such as:
    • Bell
    • Singing bowl
    • Tuning fork
    • Or simply your voice, a chant
  • Place the stone near the sound source and create continuous sound for 5–10 minutes.
  • Sound waves help to break down and rebalance energy vibrations, bringing the stone back to a stable state.

Simple execution at home

  • Choose a quiet space to focus on the cleansing process.
  • Produce sound loud enough to cover the entire area where the stones are placed.
  • Maintain a clear intention of cleansing when performing the Chakra stone cleansing method.

Why sound can cleanse stones

  • Sound creates vibrations, helping to "realign the energy frequency" of the stone.
  • When vibrations are balanced, negative energies will gradually be eliminated.

Advantages of the sound method

  • Safe for all types of stones, causes no damage
  • Can be applied to multiple stones at once
  • Time-saving, no complex preparation needed

Method 10: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Smudge Smoke

Use herbal smoke to cleanse stone energy

  • This is a traditional Chakra stone cleansing method, widely used in many cultures.
  • Lightly burn sage leaves or alternatives like palo santo, incense, candles.
  • Pass the stone back and forth through the smoke for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • The smoke carries purifying energy, helping to sweep away negative energy and quickly cleanse the stone.

Safe and effective execution

  • Perform outdoors or near a window for the smoke to easily escape.
  • Hold the stone and move it slowly through the smoke, ensuring the smoke covers the entire stone.
  • While performing the Chakra stone cleansing method, maintain a clear intention of cleansing and regenerating energy.

Why smoke helps cleanse stones

  • Smoke from herbs has purifying and energy-neutralizing properties.
  • Upon contact, negative energy in the stone will be "absorbed" and dispersed into the air.

Advantages of the smoke method

  • Safe for all types of stones
  • Quick to perform, doesn't require much time
  • Suitable when immediate stone cleansing is needed

Method 11: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Visualization

Use visualization to cleanse stone energy

  • This is a streamlined and tool-free Chakra stone cleansing method, suitable when you want to quickly cleanse anywhere.
  • Hold the stone in your dominant hand to enhance focus.
  • Close your eyes and imagine a stream of pure white light emanating from your palm, enveloping the stone.
  • Visualize the stone becoming brighter and clearer, as if "washed clean" from within.
  • Perform for about 1 minute or until you feel the stone's energy is lighter and more stable.

Enhance effectiveness with meditation

  • Before or during the Chakra stone cleansing method, you can:
    • Take a few deep breaths to calm your mind
    • Keep your mind focused on the intention of cleansing
  • Meditation helps you connect more deeply with energy, thereby increasing the cleansing effect.

Why visualization works

  • Your mind and intention act as “controllers,” helping to direct energy and remove impurities.
  • When you focus long enough, the stone's energy will gradually rebalance.

Advantages of the Visualization Method

  • Safe for all types of stones
  • No preparation needed, can be done anywhere
  • Suitable for a quick and effective Chakra stone cleansing method

Method 12: Cleansing Chakra Stones with Intention

Clear Cleansing Affirmations

  • This is a simple but powerful Chakra stone cleansing method, based on your focus and belief.
  • Hold the stone in your hand, maintain a steady mind, and direct your attention to the stone.
  • Say affirmations aloud, such as:
    • "This stone is completely cleansed"
    • "I recharge this stone with positive energy"
  • When you speak with certainty, the energy will be directed and transformed according to that intention.

Prepare Your Mind for Greater Effectiveness

  • Before performing the Chakra stone cleansing method, you can:
    • Breathe deeply to calm your mind
    • Spend a few seconds focusing on the cleansing goal
  • This helps you to increase confidence and connection with the stone, thereby enhancing effectiveness.

Why Intention Works

  • Intention is like a “command,” helping to shape and change the energy state of the stone.
  • When you truly believe in what you say, the cleansing process becomes clearer and more powerful.

Advantages of this Method

  • No tools needed, can be applied anytime
  • Safe for all types of stones
  • Suitable when you want to maintain a daily Chakra stone cleansing routine

Important Notes for Cleansing Chakra Stones

Cleansing Time is Not Fixed

  • There is no "standard" timeframe for every Chakra stone cleansing method.
  • You can follow instructions (30 minutes, a few hours, or 24 hours), but:
    • Continue longer if the stone still feels "heavy with energy"
    • Stop early if you feel the stone is "light" and balanced
  • Most importantly is personal feeling and connection with the stone.

New Stones Should Be Cleansed Immediately

  • Stones often go through many shipping stages and contact with many people before reaching you.
  • Therefore, apply a Chakra stone cleansing method as soon as you acquire it to:
    • Remove old energy
    • Bring the stone to a "blank" and ready-to-use state

Cleansing Frequency Depends on Your State

  • You should cleanse stones more frequently when:
    • You are stressed, tired, or experiencing negative emotions
    • You use stones continuously for meditation or healing
  • When personal energy is "heavy," stones will absorb more, so regular cleansing is needed.

Do Not Use Water with Certain Stones

  • Avoid using the water method for Chakra stone cleansing with soft, soluble stones:
    • Selenite
    • Celestite
    • Fluorite
    • Black Tourmaline
    • Turquoise
    • Pyrite
    • Topaz
    • Moonstone
    • Opal

Do Not Use Salt with Corrodible Stones

  • Some stones can react with salt, causing damage:
    • Turquoise
    • Malachite
    • Calcite
    • Amber
    • Azurite
    • Topaz
    • Moonstone
    • Opal
    • Selenite
    • Red Coral
  • In this case, choose another Chakra stone cleansing method such as sound or visualization.

Limit Sunlight for Stones That Fade Easily

  • Some stones may lose color or change structure when exposed to sunlight for too long:
    • Aquamarine
    • Fluorite
    • Topaz
  • Only expose to sunlight for a short time or prioritize moonlight to ensure safety.

Practical knowledge

Expert Q&A

In-depth analysis and practical advice from leading experts.

Typically, you should cleanse your chakra stones about once a month or after each use in intensive healing sessions. In Vietnam, many people have a custom of cleansing their stones on full moon days to harness the energy of the moonlight, helping the stones recharge with the most positive vibrations. If you frequently carry your stones with you in places with chaotic energy, regular cleansing will help prevent the accumulation of "negative energy" and maintain their health-supporting effectiveness.

You can definitely use dry sea salt or diluted salt water to cleanse a stone's energy, but you must be extremely careful because salt is highly corrosive. This method is very effective for hard stones like quartz, but it can damage the surface of soft stones or those containing metal, such as Lapis Lazuli or Malachite. For the safest approach, you should place the stone in a glass jar and then place that jar into a bowl of salt; this way, the stone will still be cleansed by energetic waves without fear of physical damage.

You can feel that a crystal has been activated intuitively or through physical sensations when holding it. A clean crystal often feels cool, light, and sometimes causes a slight tingling or warmth in your palm as its vibrational frequencies have been cleared. Visually, many people notice that crystals become brighter and more profound after clearing residual energy, which helps with better focus during meditation or chakra balancing.
