Method 1: Using sunglasses for people with a Water deficiency
Why should people with a Water deficiency wear sunglasses?
In Five Elements Feng Shui, people with a Water deficiency are often advised to enhance elements related to the Water element to balance their energy. Wearing sunglasses not only protects the eyes from sunlight but is also considered a way to supplement Water energy in daily life.
Choosing appropriate sunglass colors to boost Water energy
When choosing sunglasses, people with a Water deficiency should prioritize colors belonging to the Water element or those that help soothe Fire energy, such as:
- Black lenses.
- Blue lenses.

These colors are often used in Feng Shui methods for people with a Water deficiency to help maintain the balance of the Five Elements.
Colors of lenses to limit
To avoid increasing Fire energy, people with a Water deficiency should consider limiting the use of:
- Red lenses.
- Pink lenses.
- Vibrant red-orange tones.
According to Feng Shui beliefs, these colors belong to the Fire element and may not be suitable for those who need to supplement the Water element.
How to wear sunglasses to support daily Feng Shui
You can follow these simple steps:
- Choose lenses with colors suitable for the Water element.
- Wear sunglasses when moving outdoors or in environments with strong light.

Who should people with a Water deficiency associate with?
According to Five Elements Feng Shui, choosing suitable friends, partners, or companions can contribute to creating energy balance in life. For people with a Water deficiency, those with Fire deficiency characteristics are often considered a group that can provide good energetic support and assistance.
Many believe that when two sides have different missing elements, they can support, compensate, and create harmony in long-term relationships.
Why are people with a Fire deficiency considered benefactors for people with a Water deficiency?
People with a Fire deficiency are often believed to bring supplementary values to people with a Water deficiency, such as:

Why do people with a lack of Water element often thrive in active places?
In Five Elements feng shui, the Water element is often associated with flow, connection, and movement. Therefore, many people with a lack of Water element tend to prefer dynamic environments, places with a lot of communication, commerce, and information exchange.
This is also why central areas, major roads, or places with a vibrant pace of life are often considered suitable for those looking to supplement their Water energy.
Prioritize environments with flow and connection
People with a lack of Water element can thrive better in spaces that:
- Have many people passing through.
- Have convenient transportation.
- Allow easy social connection.
- Offer many opportunities for interaction and learning.
- Are dynamic and constantly developing.
These factors often provide many opportunities to expand relationships and develop oneself.
Choose convenient locations for commuting
In daily life, you can prioritize:
- Choosing convenient locations when using public transportation.
- Prioritizing airy and easily observable spaces.
- Increasing participation in social activities.
- Actively connecting with the surrounding community.
These habits help broaden experiences and increase adaptability in modern life.
Do not isolate yourself completely from society
Many people with a lack of Water element are more interested in highly connected environments than in overly isolated places.
You can:
- Join clubs or interest groups.
- Expand your professional network.
- Regularly interact and learn.
- Maintain appropriate community activities.
Exposure to various sources of information and people often creates more opportunities for career and life development.
Turn flow into a development advantage
From a feng shui perspective, flow is not just the movement of people or vehicles, but also the flow of knowledge, opportunities, and relationships.
People with a lack of Water element can enhance this element by:
- Continuously learning.
- Proactively expanding their mindset.
- Being ready to adapt to change.
- Increasing practical experiences.
These are important factors for self-development in a modern environment.
Humility and flexibility are the keys to the Water element
One of the prominent characteristics of the Water element is its adaptability and flexibility. Therefore, in addition to applying feng shui principles for people with a lack of Water element, you should also cultivate:
- A progressive spirit.
- Humility.
- The ability to listen.
- A flexible mindset in the face of change.
By combining a suitable living environment, positive relationships, and internal development, people with a lack of Water element will have more opportunities to build a career, expand connections, and maintain positive energy in life.
Method 29: Napping Helps People Lacking Water Element Recover Energy
Why should people with a lack of Water element maintain the habit of napping?
For people with a lack of Water element, maintaining a stable energy level throughout the day is very important. After a morning of continuous study or work, the body often experiences fatigue, reduced concentration, and lack of alertness.
A short nap helps the body rest, restore mental clarity, and better prepare for afternoon activities. This is also a habit that many people are interested in when learning about ways to increase Water energy and balance the Five Elements in life.
Benefits of napping for health
Proper napping can bring many benefits such as:
- Reducing stress and mental pressure.
- Improving concentration.
- Supporting memory and work performance.
- Increasing alertness in the afternoon.
- Helping the body recover after continuous activity.
These are benefits that have been recognized by many sleep studies.
Effective napping for people with a lack of Water element
You can apply the following simple routine:
- Eat lunch in moderation.
- Avoid using your phone immediately after eating.
- Choose a quiet space to rest.
- Nap for about 20-30 minutes.
- Drink some water after waking up.
This amount of time is usually enough for the body to relax without causing grogginess upon waking.
Habits that help improve the quality of naps
People with a lack of Water element should also incorporate:
- Drinking enough water throughout the day.
- Keeping the resting space cool and airy.
- Avoiding eating too much for lunch.
- Avoiding excessive caffeine consumption before naptime.
These factors help the body enter a relaxed state more easily.
Utilize the afternoon to increase work efficiency
After a proper rest, many people feel clearer-headed and more focused on important tasks.
You can:
- Schedule tasks requiring deep thought for early afternoon.
- Conduct important meetings or discussions after resting.
- Combine light exercise to keep the body alert.
This helps improve work performance and manage energy effectively.
Napping is a simple habit that brings many benefits
For people with a lack of Water element, napping is not just a period of rest but also an opportunity to regenerate energy after a busy morning. When combined with a reasonable diet, adequate water intake, and a regular lifestyle, this habit can contribute to improving health, mood, and supporting the building of positive energy throughout the day.
Method 30: Favorable Time Frames for People Lacking Water Element
Midday is a time to pay attention to energy management
According to Five Elements feng shui, the midday period is often considered when the Fire energy is strongest in the day. Many people with a lack of Water element believe this is a phase when the body is prone to feelings of fatigue, loss of concentration, or reduced work performance.
Both from a feng shui and scientific perspective, this is a time when the body needs rest after a continuous morning of activity.
You should:
- Eat a sufficiently filling lunch.
- Drink enough water.
- Avoid overworking immediately after a meal.
- Take a short rest if conditions permit.
Napping helps restore physical and mental well-being
A nap of about 20–30 minutes can help:
- Reduce feelings of fatigue.
- Improve concentration.
- Increase afternoon work performance.
- Support a more alert mind.
This is a habit adopted by many with a missing Water element to maintain balance throughout the day.
Evenings are a productive time for many with a missing Water element
Many individuals with a missing Water element find that their concentration is better in the evening when the environment is quiet and there are fewer interruptions.
The period from evening to late night is often suitable for:
- Studying.
- Researching.
- Content creation.
- Planning.
- Tasks requiring high concentration.
However, work efficiency also depends on each person's individual biological clock.
Utilizing quiet hours for self-development
You can use the evening to:
- Read books.
- Learn new skills.
- Plan work tasks.
- Write or create.
- Practice meditation or relaxation.
This is a time that helps reduce distractions and enhance the quality of thinking.
Do not sacrifice health by staying up late regularly
Although many individuals with a missing Water element feel productive at night, staying up too late for extended periods can affect:
- Sleep quality.
- Immune system.
- Cardiovascular health.
- Concentration the next day.
Therefore, it is advisable to prioritize getting enough sleep and maintaining a stable daily routine instead of continuously extending late-night hours.
Choosing a career that suits your personal daily rhythm
Some individuals with a missing Water element may find themselves suited for jobs that are active in the evening or require creativity, such as:
- Design.
- Content writing.
- Media.
- Art.
- Entertainment services.
- Online business.
However, success still depends primarily on ability, experience, and perseverance rather than working hours.
Proper energy management is a crucial key
For those with a missing Water element, understanding when they concentrate best will help optimize learning and work performance. By combining reasonable rest, adequate hydration, maintaining health, and applying the principles of Water element supplementation, you will easily maintain positive energy and best develop your abilities in daily life.
Method 31: Monkeys and Dragons in Feng Shui for those with a missing Water element
Why are monkeys and dragons considered good symbols for those with a missing Water element?
In the Five Elements and Earthly Branches feng shui system, some mascots are believed to have a special connection with the Water element. Among them, the monkey (Thân) and the dragon (Thìn) are two symbols often mentioned when learning about feng shui for those with a missing Water element.
Many believe that using appropriate symbols can help increase self-confidence, motivate development, and signify attracting positive energy.
Monkey – a symbol of flexibility and opportunity
In Eastern culture, monkeys often symbolize:

These are also qualities that many individuals with a missing Water element wish to develop in their work and life.
You can find images of monkeys in:
- Feng shui paintings.
- Decorative statues.

- Artistic items.
Dragon – a symbol of power and prosperity
The dragon is one of the most important mascots in East Asian culture.
Dragons often represent:
- Authority.
- Success.
- Wealth.
- Development.
- Positive energy.
Therefore, many individuals with a missing Water element choose the image of a dragon as an encouraging symbol on their career development path.
How to apply monkey and dragon imagery in living spaces
You can use these symbols through:
- Wall paintings.
- Small decorative statues.
- Handicrafts.
- Cultural artifacts.
When choosing, prioritize aesthetics, harmony with the space, and personal preferences.
Using feng shui items in a balanced way
Individuals with a missing Water element do not need to display too many items in the same space.
You should:
- Choose a moderate number.
- Keep the space tidy.
- Prioritize quality over quantity.
- Combine with other decorative elements to create harmony.
A neat and comfortable living space often brings a more positive feeling than using too many feng shui items.
True noble assistance comes from self-development
For those with a missing Water element, symbols like monkeys and dragons can carry spiritual and cultural encouragement. However, the decisive factor for success still lies in one's knowledge, skills, positive relationships, and continuous efforts.
By combining the creation of a harmonious living environment, maintaining flexible thinking, and applying the principles of Water element supplementation, individuals with a missing Water element will have more opportunities to attract positive things, expand connections, and develop sustainably in life.
Method 32: Rats and lucky symbols for those with a missing Water element
Why is the rat considered a special symbol for those with a missing Water element?
In the system of 12 Earthly Branches in Eastern culture, the Rat (Tý) is the first Earthly Branch and is often associated with the Water element in Five Elements feng shui. Therefore, when learning about the missing Water element, many people are interested in symbols related to the Year of the Rat as a way to enhance their connection with the Water element.
Feng shui symbols do not determine destiny, but they can carry spiritual value and create positive motivation in life.
The rat symbolizes quickness and adaptability
In folklore, rats are often associated with characteristics such as:
- Flexibility.
- High adaptability.
- Quick thinking.
- Perseverance in the face of difficulties.
These are also qualities that many individuals with a missing Water element wish to develop to support their work and life.
Kangaroos are a popular symbol
Although kangaroos are not part of traditional feng shui systems, they are popular animals due to their dynamic, strong, and always forward-moving image.
Some people choose the image of a kangaroo as a symbol of:
- Continuous development.
- A resilient spirit.
- The ability to protect family.
- Positive and optimistic energy.
This is a more symbolic and inspiring approach than a mandatory feng shui rule.
How to use rat symbols in living spaces
If you like the image of a rat or the Year of the Rat, you can incorporate it through:
- Small decorative statues.
- Art paintings.
- Souvenirs.
- Accessories with rat symbols.
You should choose subtle designs that suit the overall style of your living or working space.
Creating a positive environment to attract opportunities
For individuals with a missing Water element, creating a harmonious living environment is always more important than the number of feng shui items.
You should:
- Keep your home tidy.
- Enhance Water element-related elements such as blue, black, or white colors.
- Maintain positive relationships.
- Continuously learn and develop yourself.
These factors help create a favorable environment for long-term development.
Luck comes from proactivity and flexibility
In feng shui, the rat often symbolizes adaptability and the ability to seek opportunities. This is also a valuable lesson for those with a missing Water element: always maintain a flexible spirit, be ready to change, and proactively seize opportunities when they arise.
By combining positive thinking, a suitable living environment, and the principles of Water element supplementation, individuals with a missing Water element can build a solid foundation to develop their careers, expand their relationships, and enhance their quality of life.
Method 33: Increasing Water energy for those with a missing Water element
Actively creating an environment suitable for the Water element
Many people learn about the missing Water element with the desire to improve their health, spirit, and quality of life. According to Five Elements feng shui, instead of worrying about fortune, individuals with a missing Water element should focus on actively creating a balanced and positive living environment.
A suitable living space will help you feel relaxed, easily concentrate, and have more motivation for self-development.
Aquariums are a popular feng shui item chosen by many
Among solutions for Water element supplementation, aquariums are one of the most commonly mentioned items.
You can:
- Place an aquarium in the living room.
- Arrange an aquarium in common living areas.
- Maintain clean water and a stable filtration system.
- Regularly care for the fish to keep the space vibrant.
The most important thing is not the size of the aquarium but its ability to maintain a clean, harmonious environment suitable for the size of the house.
Simpler water elements can be used
If not able to keep fish, individuals with a missing Water element can still enhance the presence of the water element in other ways:
- Place water bottles or flower vases in the house.
- Use appropriate miniature water features.
- Decorate with images of rivers, lakes, or the sea.
- Boost colors belonging to the Water element.
These solutions are both easy to implement and suitable for various living spaces.
Contact with water through physical activity
Swimming is one of the activities favored by many individuals with a missing Water element because it helps both exercise and provides direct contact with a water environment.
Some benefits of swimming include:
- Increased endurance.
- Cardiovascular support.
- Stress reduction.
- Improved body flexibility.
- Helps to relax the mind.
This method brings real value to health and aligns with the spirit of the Water element.
Maintaining the habit of carrying water with you
A simple but useful habit for individuals with a missing Water element is to always have enough water throughout the day.
You should:
- Carry a personal water bottle.
- Drink water regularly.
- Replenish water after physical activity.
- Place water at your desk or resting area.
Maintaining adequate hydration for the body is a crucial foundation for health and daily activities.
Improving one's fortune through practical actions
For individuals with a missing Water element, the most effective method to improve their fortune is not to rely entirely on feng shui items, but to build a positive lifestyle. Drinking enough water, exercising regularly, being close to nature, maintaining a harmonious living environment, and continuously developing oneself are the factors that create sustainable change.
By combining the principles of feng shui for those with a missing Water element with scientific lifestyle habits, you will be in a better position to improve your health, expand opportunities, and maintain a positive energy source in your daily life.
Method 34: Regulating the body to increase Water energy
Healthcare is the most important foundation for those with a missing Water element
According to the Five Elements concept, individuals with a missing Water element often pay special attention to maintaining balance between their body and living environment. Besides feng shui factors, proactive healthcare is considered one of the most practical ways to improve quality of life and maintain positive energy.
Many people choose to combine a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, and traditional healthcare methods to help their bodies function more effectively.
Caring for organs related to the Water element
In the Five Elements theory of Eastern medicine, the kidneys and bladder are often associated with the Water element. Therefore, individuals with a missing Water element often pay more attention to maintaining the health of these organs.
You should:
- Drink enough water every day.
- Get enough sleep.
- Avoid prolonged late nights.
- Have regular health check-ups.
- Monitor for any unusual body signs.
Early detection and health care always yield better results than addressing problems after they have become chronic.
Consulting dưỡng sinh methods and Eastern medicine
Many individuals with a missing Water element choose traditional dưỡng sinh (life nourishment) methods to support their health, such as:
- Consulting doctors or Eastern medicine practitioners.
- Adjusting daily routines to suit one's physical condition.
- Using prescribed medicines or herbs under professional guidance.
- Combining physical and mental health care.
The use of herbs should be based on specific health conditions and the guidance of a professional, and should not be self-administered based on anecdotal experience.
Maintaining gentle and regular exercise
Physical activity helps blood circulation and improves overall physical condition.
Individuals with a missing Water element can choose:
- Brisk walking.
- Yoga.
- Tai Chi.
- Ba Duan Jin.
- Body stretching exercises.
The important thing is to maintain consistency rather than over-exercising for short periods.
Increasing the Water element in daily activities
To create a greater sense of balance and relaxation, people with a missing Water element can apply the following:
- Drink enough water.
- Swim or exercise in water.
- Soak feet in warm water in the evening.
- Increase exposure to nature with rivers, lakes, or the sea.
- Use colors belonging to the Water element in living spaces.
These methods are simple, easy to implement, and suitable for many people.
Combining Feng Shui with a scientific lifestyle
When facing pressure at work, in family, or in life, instead of just focusing on changing Feng Shui, people with a missing Water element should prioritize taking care of their physical and mental health first.
A healthy body, stable mind, and balanced lifestyle will create a solid foundation to face challenges, seize opportunities, and maintain positive energy long-term.
For those with a missing Water element, true balance comes from harmoniously combining health care, a suitable living environment, and a proactive self-development mindset. These are the factors that help life become stable and favorable over time.
