This collar style is most effective in the following cases:
-
Rectangular body shape: The bow detail helps create a focal point, reducing the feeling of a straight figure
-
Sleeveless tops or dresses: The bow draws attention to the upper body, helping to balance the overall look
-
People who like an elegant, feminine style
4. Modern variations of the tie neck
Some designs combine a tie neck with a more open neckline for easier everyday wear:
-
Tie neck combined with a V-neck makes the outfit less formal
-
Suitable when you want a polished look that isn't too formal
-
Easy to wear to work, meetings, or daytime events

Style 20: Neat triangular apron neck, showing off shoulders and neck
1. What is an apron neck?
The apron neck has a design that narrows towards the neck in a triangular shape, inspired by classic 20th-century aprons. This collar style is similar to a halter neck, but differs in structure:
-
The neck section is only as wide as the neck, then slopes down to both sides of the chest
-
Two thin straps originate from both sides of the neck, looping around the back of the neck
-
Neat, well-defined silhouette
This is a less common collar style but very effective in terms of shaping.
2. Body-shaping effect of an apron neck
An apron neck creates a focal point on the upper body.
-
Highlights the collarbones and shoulders
-
Draws attention to the neck and face
-
Keeps the chest area neat, without deep cleavage
-
Creates a slender and balanced upper body appearance
3. Who is an apron neck suitable for?
This collar style has a very wide range of applications, suitable for many different body types.
-
All body shapes can wear it beautifully if the right cut is chosen
-
Suitable for those who want to subtly show off their shoulders and neck
-
Easily applicable to both dresses and summer tops
4. When should you choose an apron neck?
You should consider an apron neck when:
-
You want a neat, modern, but not too revealing collar style
-
You need light clothing for the warm season
-
You want to create a focal point on the upper body while maintaining comfort

Style 21: Luxurious, classic Queen Anne neckline
1. What is a Queen Anne neckline?
A Queen Anne neckline features a high back and low front, forming a shape similar to a trapezoid. The back of the collar is high and close-fitting, then curves to the front with two narrowing collar bands, reminiscent of a classic bolero jacket.
-
Closed back, high collar
-
Front cut moderately low
-
Conveys a stately, vintage feel
2. Body-shaping effect of a Queen Anne neckline
The contrasting front and back design creates a very subtle visual effect.
-
Makes the shoulders look narrower, not wide
-
Emphasizes the bust and upper body
-
Maintains modesty at the back while still being feminine at the front
-
Creates a regal and poised posture
3. Who is a Queen Anne neckline suitable for?
This collar style is particularly beneficial for the following body types:
-
People with broad shoulders: The high back helps soften the horizontal line of the shoulders
-
People who want to accentuate their bust but don't like a fully deep cut
-
Brides who love classic, vintage styles
4. When should you choose a Queen Anne neckline?
The Queen Anne neckline is often used in special designs:
-
Classic style wedding dresses
-
Formal evening gowns
-
Events requiring a sophisticated, elegant appearance

Style 22: Asymmetrical neck – unique and unconventional
1. What is an asymmetrical neck?
An asymmetrical neck is a non-symmetrical collar, where the two sides of the neckline have different designs, creating an irregular and modern shape. This concept is not limited to one-shoulder necklines, but includes many other creative variations.
-
One side off-shoulder, the other with a short sleeve
-
One side of the neck is closed, the other has a different cut
-
Cut-out details creating geometric lines around the neck or chest area
2. Body-shaping effect of an asymmetrical neck
By breaking the familiar horizontal line, an asymmetrical neck creates a very strong visual focal point.
-
Immediately draws attention
-
Makes the overall outfit look more dynamic and fashionable
-
Reduces the feeling of the body being rigidly "blocked"
-
Creates a visual effect that draws the eye diagonally
3. Who is an asymmetrical neck suitable for?
Due to its many variations, this collar style has a very wide range of applications.
-
All body shapes can wear it beautifully if the right design is chosen
-
The one-shoulder variation particularly flatters the shoulders and collarbones
-
Suitable for those who want to create a focal point on their upper body
4. Asymmetrical cut-outs and how to choose safely
Some asymmetrical designs use cut-out details to enhance their unique personality:
-
Cut-outs are usually placed high, in the collarbone or upper chest area
-
Creates a subtle peekaboo effect, not overly revealing
-
Choose a moderate size to maintain elegance

Style 23: Keyhole neck - discreet yet alluring
1. What is a keyhole neck?
A keyhole neck is a round or high collar with a small cut-out below the collarbone, where the cut-out is buttoned or sewn in place at the top, creating a keyhole shape.
-
Controlled opening, not too deep
-
Often combined with a high or closed collar
-
Evokes a subtle, elegant feeling
2. Aesthetic effect of a keyhole neck
The strength of a keyhole neck lies in its balance between modesty and allure.
-
Allows for a moderate amount of skin exposure
-
Draws attention to the neck and upper chest area
-
Keeps the overall outfit elegant, not flashy
-
Serves as a beautiful backdrop for long earrings, large hoop earrings
3. Who is a keyhole neck suitable for?
A major advantage of this collar style is that it is suitable for all body types, if the right cut-out size is chosen.
-
Large bust: Choose a small keyhole to avoid a tight or overly revealing look
-
Small bust: You can choose a slightly larger keyhole to create a focal point
-
Those who like an elegant but not monotonous style
4. Important notes when choosing a keyhole neckline
For the keyhole neckline to be effective, you should pay attention to balance:
-
Avoid too small an opening, which can feel constricting
-
Avoid too large an opening, which can make the neckline lose its shape
-
Prioritize designs with sturdy stitching at the top

Style 24: Scalloped neck, soft and eye-catching
1. What is a scalloped neck?
A scalloped neck is a type of neckline with a continuous wavy edge, resembling a row of seashells. This is not strictly a standalone neckline style, but rather a collar design detail, often applied to:
-
Scoop neck
-
V-neck
-
Dresses or women's blouses
The scalloped edge makes the neckline look distinctly softer and more refined.
2. Body-shaping effect of the scalloped neck
Thanks to its repeated curves, the scalloped neck breaks up the rigid straight lines of an outfit.
-
Makes the upper body look softer and more feminine
-
Creates a beautiful frame for the upper chest area
-
Attracts attention without being deeply cut
-
Adds visual depth to the outfit
3. Who is the scalloped neck suitable for?
This neckline style is particularly beneficial for the following body types:
-
Rectangle body shape: The curved neckline softens the straight silhouette
-
Those who want to add a subtle accent to their bust
-
Those who prefer a feminine, gentle style
4. When should you choose a scalloped neck?
A scalloped neck is a reasonable choice when you:
-
Want your outfit to look more graceful without needing cut-outs
-
Need a design detail that creates a slight difference
-
Want to dress elegantly in environments that require modesty

Style 25: U-shaped neck, neat and easy for daily wear
1. What is a U-shaped neck?
A U-shaped neck has a gently curved U-shaped opening, located just above the bust. Compared to a scoop neck, this neckline is narrower and higher, making it very popular in tank tops and T-shirts.
-
Soft neckline, not deeply cut
-
Easy to wear in daily life
-
Belongs to the group of beautiful basic and highly versatile women's necklines
2. Body-shaping effect of the U-shaped neck
The U-shaped neck creates a sleek look without being overly revealing.
-
Helps to lengthen the neck naturally
-
Can be subtly sensual if cut to a moderate depth
-
Doesn't necessarily expose much of the bust
-
Creates a nice backdrop for wearing medium-length necklaces
3. Who is the U-shaped neck suitable for?
You can consider the U-shaped neck similar to the scoop neck when choosing based on body type:
-
People with short necks: The U-shaped curve draws the eye downwards, balancing the upper body
-
People with small busts: Creates the illusion of a fuller bust
-
Those who prefer a slightly open but still modest neckline
4. When should you choose a U-shaped neck?
The U-shaped neck is a very practical choice when:
-
You need comfortable everyday wear
-
You want to lengthen your neck but don't like a V-neck
-
You want to pair it with medium-length necklaces

Style 26: Illusion neck, subtle, safe, and flattering
1. What is an illusion neck?
An illusion neck is a high neckline that uses sheer or nude mesh fabric, creating the impression of a strapless design, but in reality, it still has a supportive and covering layer. The mesh typically:
-
Fits snugly around the neck
-
Connects to the dress bodice for added stability
-
Can be beaded, embroidered, or intricately decorated
This neckline style primarily appears in wedding dresses and evening gowns, not common in everyday clothing.
2. Body-shaping effect of the illusion neck
The illusion neck creates a very clever visual effect.
-
Gives the impression of a strapless neckline but is safer and more modest
-
Lengthens the upper body, making the figure look taller and more slender
-
Keeps the bust secure, preventing sagging
-
Provides an elegant and refined look
3. Who is the illusion neck suitable for?
This neckline style is particularly beneficial for the following cases:
-
People with short necks: The sheer effect helps to lengthen the upper body
-
People with average to large busts: Offers better support than a strapless neckline
-
Brides or those wearing evening gowns who want to be both alluring and secure
4. When should you choose an illusion neck?
You should prioritize an illusion neck if:
-
You like a strapless dress but worry about support issues
-
You want a sophisticated, elegant style instead of direct exposure
-
You need an outfit for a formal event that lasts many hours

Style 27: Convertible neckline, flexible and easy to customize
1. What is a convertible neckline?
A convertible neckline is a type of neckline that can change its shape using ties or adjustable details, rather than being fixed in a single form. With just a few simple adjustments, you can transform the neckline into various styles.
-
Ties can be detached, tied, or rearranged
-
One design can create two or more neckline styles
-
For example: an off-the-shoulder neckline can be pulled up to become a boat neck, or transformed into an asymmetrical neckline
2. Aesthetic effect of the convertible neckline
The biggest advantage of a convertible neckline lies in its flexibility.
-
Easy to adjust to flatter the wearer's true body shape
-
Suitable for many occasions with just one outfit
-
Helps the same dress not become boring
-
Optimizes versatility and usability
3. Who is the convertible neckline suitable for?
This neckline style is considered the easiest to wear among beautiful women's necklines.
-
All body types can find a suitable way to wear it
-
Those who are not confident about their neck-shoulder shape can try different ways
-
Especially popular in bridesmaid dresses, allowing each person to adjust the neckline to their own body shape
4. When should you choose a convertible neckline?
You should prioritize this neckline style if:
-
You want a flexible, economical, and versatile design
-
You need an outfit for various occasions
-
You want to actively change your style according to the context or mood

Mình hay chọn cổ tròn vì nghĩ an toàn, dễ phối đồ.
